Privacy

We never see your data.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Nothing is collected

EyeUp collects nothing. There are no analytics, no trackers, no advertising identifiers, no third-party code, and no servers of ours for your data to reach. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected because that is simply the truth of how the app is built.

The daily puzzle is generated on your device from the date. Nothing is downloaded to create it, and nothing is sent anywhere when you play.

Your history is yours

Your scores, streaks and calibration history are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs them between your devices through your own private iCloud database, under your Apple Account. That database belongs to you: NetSmiths cannot read it, and has no way to.

Game Center, optionally

Leaderboards and achievements use Game Center, which is entirely optional — EyeUp never needs an account of its own, and never asks twice if you decline. When you do use it, Game Center is operated by Apple and governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

One optional reminder

EyeUp can remind you once a day that a fresh daily is waiting. The reminder is off by default, scheduled on your device at a time you choose, and never involves a server. Turn it off and it is gone.
